Attorney:
Marisol Cruz is a Florida licensed attorney with vast litigation experience in Business (Civil) Law and Family Law, both inside and outside the courtroom. Additionally, Marisol serves as a Guardian Ad Litem when appointed by the Court in order to assess and determine the best interest of minor children involved in custody matters.
Marisol helps clients with Divorce, Alimony and Child Support, Modification of Child Support, Modification and Enforcement of Marital Settlement Agreements, Time-sharing (custody) and Parenting Plans (visitation), and Domestic Violence matters. In addition, Ms. Cruz represents individuals and corporate entities in civil litigation matters in the areas of Business/Commercial Law and Litigation, including contractual disputes, partnership/joint venture disputes, Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Ms. Cruz received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center where she graduated in the top ten of her class. Marisol completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and earned a Master’s degree in Italian Studies from Prescott College. Prior to becoming a lawyer and during her time in law school, Ms. Cruz worked as a paralegal and law clerk to criminal defense and civil litigation attorneys in all aspects of case and trial preparation. Ms. Cruz is fluent in spoken and written Spanish and Italian, and currently working towards German fluency.
